This morning, after breakfast, we will embark on a heritage walk through the Leh bazaar. Our host will share various insights and tips on capturing the live experiences, as the guests walk through the lanes of the market. With some time provided for lunch, at the guests discretion, through the day they will also visit the Central Asian Museum and the Leh Palace to capture visuals of these historic sights.
The evening would be spent at leisure followed by dinner at the hotel.

Today, the guests are escorted for a tour through the monasteries of the Indus Valley basin. We start the day with a morning prayer ceremony with the monks, at Thiksey Monastery. Following this, the guests will be guided to visit the Hemis Monastery to experience the centuries-old architectural & cultural gem of Ladakh.

Further through the day, the guests are then escorted to visit the Stok Palace and Stakna Monastery – whose structure resembles a tiger’s nose. This 16th-century monastery, situated on the banks of the Indus, offers stunning views of the valley. Through this day the guests are treated to views of century-old cultural traditions as well as stunning landscapes.

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, the guests will be driven to Sham Valley. We first visit Lamayuru, also known as the Moonland of Ladakh, due to the rock formations that are reminiscent of the craters of the Moon – thus making this place a photographers’ paradise! This is followed by the Alchi monastic complex – a collection of shrines with wall frescoes & paintings dating back more than 900 years. We also visit Basgo – which was once the cultural center of Ladakh and has ruins of an old fort along with a monastery.

The route leading to these places are also equally spectacular, one of the most interesting points being ‘Sangam’ – the place of confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers. The guests are then driven back to the hotel, with the overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel in Leh and drive to Nubra Valley through the scenic roads, passing over one of the highest motorable roads of the world – Khardung La, witnessing the change in the landscape.

Upon arrival at Sumur, a small village in Nubra, we check in to the hotel. The guests are then escorted to visit the sand dunes of Sumur, which is also the home to the double humped Bactrian camels. Sumur is a hidden gem of Ladakh that offers great views of the landscape of the valley. Overnight at the hotel.

This morning, the guests will be driven to Charasa – the ancient seat of the king of Nubra Valley, which has remains of the fortified palace. Further, the guests are escorted to visit Murgi – the largest petroglyph site of Ladakh. Murgi houses red-brown crusted rocks as ancient as the bronze age remain of fortified walls, and the footprints of a famous tantric, Dachompa Nyima Gungpa – legend has it that he had the ability to fly in the air.

Following the visit, guests are guided back to their hotel in Nubra. Overnight at the hotel in Nubra Valley.

Following breakfast, the guests depart from Nubra towards Leh, driving over the Khardung La, an estimated five to four-five hour drive.
Arrive at Leh with the remaining day at leisure.

This evening, Aditya Arya will share further insights on capturing moments and a debrief on the overall tour.

A farewell dinner will be hosted for the guests at the hotel.

After breakfast, guests check-out & are driven to the Leh airport from where they embark on their onward journey.
