We begin our day with a visit to the captivating Golestan Palace, constructed in the 16th century and once the official royal complex of the Qajar dynasty in Tehran. Our next destination is the National Museum of Ancient Iran, where artifacts dating back to the Lower Paleolithic period are on display. Among these exhibits are Mousterian stone tools crafted by Neanderthals, prominently featured in the museum’s first hall. After lunch, our itinerary takes us to Azadi Tower, commissioned by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi to commemorate the 2,500th anniversary of the founding of the Imperial State of Iran. Following our visit to Azadi Tower, we will travel onward to Kashan (3 hours), where we will spend the night in a delightful traditional hotel.

Night: Kashan

After breakfast, we will begin our day with a visit to Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse, a traditional Iranian public bathhouse dating back to the 16th century, built during the Safavid era. Our next destination is Tabatabai’s House, a historic house museum constructed around 1880 during the Qajar dynasty for the affluent Tabātabāei family, renowned as one of Iran’s prominent historic residences. We will then proceed to Fin Garden, which includes Fin Bath where Amir Kabir, the Qajar chancellor, was assassinated in 1852 by an agent of King Nasereddin Shah. Completed in 1590, Fin Garden is the oldest surviving garden in Iran.

After exploring Fin Garden, we will enjoy lunch in Kashan before heading to Abyaneh, a historic red village renowned for its authentic and ancient Iranian culture. Following our visit to Abyaneh, our journey will continue to Isfahan (2 hours).

Night: Isfahan

After breakfast, we will proceed to Chehel Sotoun Palace, a Persian pavilion located amidst a park at the end of a long pool which was built by Shah Abbas II for his entertainment and receptions. Following our visit, we will enter the expansive and magnificent Naqsh-e Jahan Square, the world’s second-largest square. Here, we will discover the Shah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, and Isfahan’s bustling traditional market, renowned for its exquisite Iranian handicrafts. Later, we will visit the stunning Vank Church, one of the largest and most beautiful churches in Isfahan’s Jolfa district. Its gilded ceiling, dome interior, and historical paintings are truly remarkable. After exploring this charming church in the Christian quarter of Isfahan, we will proceed to the Allahverdi Khan Bridge, also known as Si-o-se-pol, the largest of eleven historical bridges spanning the Zayanderud, Iran’s largest river. We will then experience the city’s nightlife with a leisurely stroll along Chaharbagh Street, a historic avenue reminiscent of Paris’ Champs-Élysées, dating back to the Safavid era.

Night: Isfahan

After breakfast, we will depart for Yazd, making a stop along the way (2 hours) to explore the historical city of Nayin. Here, we will visit its charming carpet weaving workshops and the renowned Pigeon Towers, luxurious Persian accommodations built for pigeons in the 17th century. Each circular tower housed approximately 14,000 pigeons, serving as dung collectors for local farmlands. Continuing our journey, we will visit the ancient Narin Castle in Meybod. Constructed between 2,000 to 6,000 years ago, this imposing structure boasts four towers reaching a height of 40 meters and features an ancient plumbing system. Finally, we will conclude our day in Yazd, checking into a traditional hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Night: Yazd

After a delightful breakfast, we will embark on a journey through Yazd’s rich historical fabric and marvel at its impressive windmills, delving deep into the region’s history. Our exploration continues with a visit to Jameh Mosque, which traces its origins back 800 years. Initially constructed on the site of a Sassanid fire temple under the direction of A’la Al – Dowleh Kalanjar, the mosque underwent renovations 200 years later. The main structure as it stands today was commissioned by Seyyed Rokhn Al Din Mohammad Qazi. Noteworthy is the oldest dated tile work found in the eastern entrance vestibule, dating back to 1364 A.D. Next, we will explore Amir Chakhmaq Square, renowned for its symmetrical sunken alcoves. This prominent site includes a mosque sharing its name with the square, along with a caravanserai, a tekyeh (a place for mourning events), a bathhouse, a cold water well, and a confectionery. The evening will be at leisure, and we will spend the night at our hotel in Yazd.

Night: Yazd

After breakfast, we will depart from Yazd towards Shiraz (5 hours), with a stop along the way to visit the Aghazadeh Mansion in Abarkooh. This stunning Persian house is renowned for hosting the most extraordinary wind-catcher (badgir) in the world, a sight often depicted in Iranian art and even on currency. Continuing our journey to Shiraz, we will pass by Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire, and Naqsh-e Rostam, an ancient archaeological site and necropolis known for its historical significance in Iran. Finally, we will arrive in Shiraz and check into our hotel for the night.

Night: Shiraz

Today, following breakfast, we will begin by visiting the Atigh Jameh Mosque, Shiraz’s oldest mosque. Built to commemorate the conquest of Shiraz by Saffarid Amroleiss in the year 276 AH and completed by 281 AH, it offers a splendid display of light and color in Iranian architectural style. Next, we will journey to the Pink Lake (Maharloo Lake), a natural masterpiece renowned for its striking hues. Then, we will explore the traditional Vakil Bazaar, an integral part of the Shiraz Bazaar dating back to the 11th century. Built under Karim Khan to elevate Shiraz into a bustling trade hub, this architecturally stunning structure hosts merchants selling spices, rugs, handmade copper items, antiques, Persian sweets, and more. Later, we will visit the magnificent Mirror Mosque, also known as the Shah Cheragh Shrine. Renowned for its mesmerizing interior adorned with intricate mirror mosaics, it stands as a prominent pilgrimage site in Iran. Following our exploration of Shiraz, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Tehran. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel, and the remainder of the day will be at leisure.

Night: Tehran

On this day, our guests will prepare to depart for their country according to their flight schedule.
