After breakfast, check-out & drive to Gondal, enroute stop at Sayla (an estimated 3-hour drive).

Sayla in known for its Beadwork, Single Ikat weaving and Khadi hand spun cloth. The women of Kathi community specialize in Bead work, the craft of attaching beads with one another to create beautiful jewellery.

The weavers of Sayla specialize in Single Ikat weaving. One can visit families working together on the resist dyeing process of the warp or weft fibres, which are then woven on hand looms.

We will continue our drive to Gondal which is an estimated 3 hour drive from Sayla.

Evening will visit the Naulakha Palace, famous for its exquisite collection of brass utensils, beadwork, silverware and hand-painted wooden toys. Here, the guests can witness an extensive range of textile and handicrafts that are handmade and looks very appealing.

After breakfast, check-out & drive to Gir via Jetpur & Junagarh.

The guests will be driven from Gondal to Jetpur, which is an estimated 45-50 minutes drive.

Upon arrival, the guests can see the block printing, screen printing and textile units.

We will continue our drive to Gir, enroute stop to visit the Junagarh Museum (an estimated 1-hour drive). Built in a beautiful old palace of Junagarh, the Darbar Hall Museum is amongst the finest museums in Gujarat as it preserves the treasures of the Junagarh rulers. The guests can also glance the Nawabi textiles and beautiful carpets.

Thereafter, will continue our drive to Gir, an estimated 1-1.5 hour drive.

Gir National Park is the only place in the world outside Africa where a lion can be seen in its natural habitat. The lions of Gir are a majestic animal, averaging 2.75 metres in length, and with a bigger tail tassle, bushier elbow tufs and prominent belly folds than his African cousin which has larger mane. Gir is a home to 40 species of mammals and 425 species of birds.

Today the guest will go for the morning jungle safari into Gir Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park. Gir Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the famous wildlife sanctuaries of India that grab attention of wildlife lovers from around the world. It is also known as the abode of the Asiatic Lions.

After exploring the natural beauty and wilderness of Gir, the guests will be returned back to the hotel.

Early afternoon, check-out from the hotel and head towards Jamnagar, which is known for its Bandhini work.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Anjar city, the center of textile and metal handicraft industry in the Kutch district.

Evening visit the Gandhidam, famous for its marvellous textile market.

It’s impossible to come to Anjar and return home empty handed as the markets of the city offers an exciting range of metal handicrafts.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Kutch, an estimated 2.5 – 3 hour drive. En-route, we will visit some tribal villages that are famous for their Ahir embroidery, Rabari embroidery and ajrakh block printing work which is famous worldwide.

Kutch, a district in Gujarat, the Westernmost state of India, is known for its white desert, rich history, rustic beauty and vibrant art. The textiles and crafts of Kutch (also spelled Kachh) are some of the most stunning India has to offer. The Kutch Embroidery is a handicraft and textile signature art tradition of the tribal community of Kutch.

After breakfast, we have a day to visit the local villages of Sodha Rajputs. These villages are inhabited by Hindu (Rabaris and Meghwal Harijans) and Muslim (Jaths and Muthwas) pastoral groups.

The Sodha Rajput community used to live in Sindh, Pakistan but have now mostly migrated to Kachchh, India. Sodha embroidery is strong and durable with geometric, curvilinear lines and full of flowers, birds, animals and figurative motifs. These embroideries bring the richness of desert cultures into your hands — heirlooms for the future. Each embroidery is a unique expression of the woman who made it. The language of stitches builds within a community over hundreds of years.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Dasada, anestimated 7-hour drive.

On the periphery of little rann of kutch lies a quaint little village of Dasada. The pastoral Kharapat and Vadiyara Rabaris are known for their exquisite embroidery with herringbone stitches interspersed with small mirrors, using occasional chain stitch for peacocks and other fabrics.

Later you can visit the distinctive embroideries work crafted by women of Rabari.

Early morning take a tour to the Jeep Safari to explore the rich wildlife of “Little Rann of Kutch”.

After the safari, return back to the hotel for breafkast.

Post breakfast, drive to Patan (An estimated 2-hour drive) to explore the Salvis working on Patola, which is considered for excellent silk textiles. The guests can also visit the Rani Ki Vav is the oldest and the grandest stepwell in the state of Gujarat. It is situated at Patan and is believed to have been built during 1022 to 1063 AD. The construction was completed by the widowed queen Udayamati.

The guests continue the drive to Modhera (An estimated 50-55 minutes drive) to visit the Sun Temple at Modhera built during the 11th century. It is one of the finest examples as it truly reflects the Hindu architecture.

After the visit, drive back to Dasada from Modhera. (An estimated 1-hour drive)
