Breakfast is served in the lodge. Everyone knows that Rovaniemi is home to Santa Claus, and today you have the possibility to meet him yourself. Mid-morning transfer to Santa Claus village and time at leisure. We have allocated three hours in the village – there are many things to do and much to see. We recommend lunch at the village, perhaps at Santamus restaurant (at your own expense). A visit to Snowman world is also recommend (tickets can be purchased on the spot)
Return to the resort, and evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight in the panorama design huts.

Optional extra tour at a supplement: Electric snowmobile excursion – After dinner, a special treat awaits. Get dressed and rearing to go, as you experience an electric Northern lights snowmobile. The electric snowmobile is an innovative new way to experience the
Arctic without disturbing the silent peace and wintery nature, a sustainable way of experiencing the Lappish nature! (Excursion takes 3 hours) Start time approximately 21h00.
Note: Tour does not require any physical fitness; however, the clients need to be able to drive the snowmobile on their own and have a valid driver’s license.

Breakfast is served at Vaattunki Wilderness resort. Return your thermal clothing set, and soon it is time to say good-bye to Rovaniemi and Finland as you head North to Sweden. The journey takes approximately five hours. It will also be possible to buy something to eat and drink (own expense) during one of the stops.
Arrival at the Ice hotel in the afternoon and check in to your warm accommodation (Kaamos rooms). If you are feeling adventurous and would like to experience a night in the ice hotel– please let us know and we can assist with your request (supplementary charge). Dinner

Breakfast is served at the restaurant. There is much to see and do in the Jukkasjarvi and Kiruna area. We have left today open to enjoy this incredible winter paradise at leisure.

Optional extra tour at a supplement: Dogsled tour with wilderness lunch Today a dog sledding tour with wilderness lunch is awaiting you. Your team is driven by an experienced musher. This chosen excursion is 3 hours and will offer you the chance to experience this amazing location from a sled. Start time: approximately 10: 00 hrs / Distance covered: Up to 18-22 km
Note: Provided the seniors are fit, this tour will be enjoyed. The clients do not musher the dogs, so they will not be driving.

Breakfast is served at the hotel. Today is at leisure, the vibrant city of Tromsø offers museums, and a variety of more adventurous excursions. A walk around the city is also recommended, as is Fjellheisen cable car. We will be happy to help plan your day. Lunch at
own expense. Light evening buffet and overnight at the Clarion Collection Aurora hotel.
Optional extra tour at a supplement: As we leave the city of Tromsø behind us, you will be able to admire the skyline of the third largest city in the Arctic Circle in the morning light. We will set course south to one of the beautiful fjords in the region; Ramfjord. The fjord is charactered by its 90 degrees corner halfway through the fjord. From marine life that flourishes here to the historic cold war facility of Olavsvern, the fjord is rich with stories. Once we leave Ramfjord, we continue to an old fishing facility on the island of Kvaløya. We pass by Ristraumen, a heavy current and a well-known local fishing spot. From here you will have a fantastic view over both Kvaløya as well as Malangen. When we get to the fishing facility, you will step on land and learn more about how important the fishing industry was for the history of northern Norway and still is to this day and how it has shaped families and culture. Warm, indoor lounges with panoramic windows will provide fantastic views of the epic coastal scenery of Arctic Norway. Cruise silently past snow-covered mountains and landmarks like the Arctic Cathedral. Start time; Mid day.

You will see the Northern Lights, and we deliver this by driving wherever we must to find clear skies. Sometimes, this takes us all the way to Finland, so remember to dress warmly. During certain periods, Tromsø can also be icy, so be aware and bring shoe spikes for your safety. We have insulated suits that you can wear on top of your own warm clothes. We’ll meet you at the Scandic Ishavshotel in the city center, just a short walk from most hotels and only 10 minutes from the airport. Prior to the trip, with local knowledge, we’ve been monitoring weather changes throughout the day and have a plan for where the best chances of clear skies and the Northern Lights are. We collaborate with the best guides in the city to ensure our success. You should feel and see that we’ve done everything we can to provide you with the natural miracle – the Northern Lights. Now, the adventure begins, and you’ll watch a film about the Northern Lights, both the science and myths to understand what you’re about to experience. If we are lucky and the weather at our home base is good, we will take you to our coastal farm. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see and experience an old farm that has its roots dating back to 1880. We have a lavvu (Sami tent), and we can sit protected from the weather while we share our history, which has Sami, Kven, and genuine city roots dating back to when Tromsø became a city in 1794. If we need to go to other places, we ensure that we create a pleasant atmosphere with a fire, seating, hot coffee, chocolate, tea, and the world’s best chocolate cake.
