08:30 (8.30 am): Visit to Kumartuli, Tucked away in the heart of North Kolkata, Kumartuli is a magical maze of narrow lanes where art, tradition, and faith come alive—literally. This centuries-old potters’ quarter is where master artisans shape divine beauty from humble clay, crafting the majestic idols of gods and goddesses that define Bengal’s festivals, especially Durga Puja.

Afternoon of Culinary Delights 12:30 (1230 pm) :- Lunch: Street food walking tour. Savouring the highlights of Calcutta from Puchka’s, Flurry’s chocolate boats, Bengali sweets, Kathi roll’s and more. The groups will be divided into smaller batches of 15-20 people, with designated areas and storytellers escorting them through the heart of Calcutta’s culinary delights. Exploring the famous street food joints of Kolkata, especially in the BBD Bagh area, Dalhousie Square area, Sudder Street, A.J.C Bose Road. The kiosks along Dacres Lane is the ultimate destination for foodies.

15:30 (3.30 pm): By 3.30 pm we will propose to visit the Kali Temple for darshan during normal operating hours. Co-ordination with the Pandit will be done. Please note navigation through the temple and partaking in the ceremony would be planned in batches.

17:30 (5.30 pm):- 1-hour Hi-Tea Cruise on the Hooghly River. Toast the night on an elegant barge, surrounded by live DJ and city lights with Maa Durga’s Protima sailing on the Hooghly. A Hooghly River cruise offers a unique perspective of Kolkata, blending history, culture, and relaxation.

Return to the hotel and overnight stay at Kolkata.

08:00 (8 am): Bonedi Bari experience, witnessing the traditional Durga Puja ceremonies at an old ancestral home. Engage in storytelling sessions detailing the history and significance of these heritage household pujas, offering insights into their unique rituals and customs.

11:00 (11 am):- Weavers Studio – A Living Canvas of Indian Textiles Step into Weavers Studio, where tradition and innovation come together in threads of timeless elegance. Tucked away in the heart of Kolkata, this creative space is known for reviving ancient weaving techniques through modern design. With hand-dyed fabrics, eco-friendly textiles, and museum-quality craftsmanship, it’s not just a boutique—it’s a destination for anyone passionate about India’s rich textile heritage and contemporary fashion. Later visit Indian Silk House – a name synonymous with heritage, elegance, and authenticity. For nearly a century, this beloved store has been a go-to destination for exquisite silk sarees— from regal Banarasis to classic Kanjeevarams and vibrant Bengal weaves. Whether you’re shopping for a wedding or collecting timeless heirlooms, Indian Silk House invites you to experience the grace of handwoven silk at its finest.

Lunch at a designated venue within the city. Current option suggested is Ballygunge with traditional Bengali cuisine.

14:00 (2 pm):- Victoria Memorial
Discover the grandeur of Kolkata’s colonial past at the magnificent Victoria Memorial (remains closed on Monday) — a stunning white-marble masterpiece surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens. Step inside to explore a rich collection of artifacts, paintings, and royal memorabilia that bring India’s history to life. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or a lover of breathtaking sights, the Victoria Memorial offers an unforgettable experience steeped in charm and legacy.

Late evening, our guests are escorted for a city tour visiting some of the famous Durga Puja pandals of South / North Calcutta.

Heritage Walk- proceed for a Heritage walk, with the morning serenity and local savouries as we explore Dalhousie Square (Covering Raj Bhavan, St. John’s church, High Court, GPO, Town Hall, Writer’s Building, Stock Exchange Building and other important colonial buildings).

10:00 – 15:00 (10 am – 3 pm) (Optional):
Shopping Tour – Today we suggest certain venues and boutiques for the guests to explore. We may provide the vehicle on disposal.

1300 Hrs:- We may plan combined fixed time departure transfer from the hotel. Guests to assemble in the lobby considering a return flight between 17:00-19:00, departing from Kolkata.
