Our morning today begins with a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple with a special entry for the darshan. The temple, standing on the bank of the Ganges, is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Following this, visit the Annapurna temple which is dedicated to the Goddess of Food. Further drive to visit the Sankat Mochan Temple, an ancient temple and abode of deity Lord Hanuman Ji.

After the temple visit, the guests return to their hotels for breakfast.

The remaining day at leisure.

After breakfast, we recommend a visit to a Banarasi Silk weaver, to learn about this traditional art form. Following this, visit to exclusive Banarasi Silk Shop. Lunch in the respective hotels.

This evening guests will join in the celebrations of the iconic Dev Deepawali festival. By early evening around, our guests will be escorted to the banks of the Ganges to board the boat for the festivities.

Dev Deepawali is celebrated every year in Varanasi, in respect of the river Ganges by the pilgrims. It is held in the month of Kartika Purnima or Full Moon of Kartika Month of the Hindu calendar. In the Hindu religion, Dev Deepawali is celebrated based on the belief that the Gods descend on Earth on this grand occasion. It is also believed that on this day, the demon Tripurasur was killed by the Gods, and hence this is regarded as a day of victory and celebrations. Through this experience, the guests will be seated on their private boat witnessing the magical spectacle of sounds, lights, and festivities set across the ghats.

Later, guests will be escorted to their respective hotels for dinner.

Our morning today begins with an exclusive boat ride on the Ganges through the ghats of Varanasi.

Early in the morning at approximately 05:30am we proceed towards the ghats where a private boat await our guests. Through this experience, guests will sail on the river and immerse themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually into the divine Aura of the Ganges, while witnessing intimate rituals as we explore the sacred geography of the riverfront from the southernmost Assi to the northernmost Panchganga ghat.

Later, our guests are escorted for a heritage walk through this old city!

Our first stop today is Assi Ghat, the southernmost Ghat, situated at the assemblage of the Ganges and Assi rivers. Next, we proceed to visit Panch Parmeshwar Temple. “Panch” means Five & “Ishvar” means “Lord”. This five spired temple has five deities, one under each of its spires. In the inner sanctum, there is an image of Laxminarayan or Lord Vishnu & his consort Lakshmi. At the four corners, there are Shiva, Radha, Krishna, Ram & his wife Sita & his brother Laxman. This is followed by a visit to Tulsi Ghat, known for its mythological importance. Then we proceed with our walk along the ghats, visiting the Akhara followed by a brief visit to Lolark Kund, which is one of the oldest sacred sites of Varanasi.

After breakfast, the guests embark on a musical & learning experience of the Benaras Gharana – an age-old style of both vocal & instrumental Hindustani classical music. Guests will be enthralled with the interactions and performance by these artists, learning about the vocal and instrumental styles of Indian classical music.

The guests are driven to a local restaurant for a lunch.

Following this, the guests are escorted to visit Kabir Math was the birthplace of Kabir. He grew up in this place and today, it contains various collections related to Kabir. Inside Kabir Math, you can find Samadhi Mandir, Chabutara Beejak temple and others.

Evening we propose to proceed for a Culinary Walk. The charm of this old part of Varanasi relies upon savoring the mouth-watering dishes famous in the region.

Remaining evening is at leisure with dinner recommended at the hotel.
