Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1
Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu en route visit Tamchog Lhakhang. A sightseeing of National Memorial Chorten in Thimphu.
Day 2
Sightseeing of Thimphu – Buddha Dordenma, Royal Textile Academy and Weekend market.
Day 3
Sightseeing of Royal Takin Preserve. Drive to Punakha en route stop at Dochu La pass. A short hike to Chimi Lhakhang. This followed a visit of Punakha Dzong.
Day 4
A small hike to Khamsum Yuelley chorten. A visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang
Nunnery.
Day 5
Drive to Paro. Afternoon visit the National Museum and a local farmhouse.
Day 6
Visit & optional hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s nest). Afternoon at leisure.
Day 7
Day of Departure: Fly out from Paro!
