Day 1

Start your Journey (Bengaluru to Bandipur)

Arrive at Yeshwantpur Railway Station in Bengaluru and receive a traditional welcome before boarding the luxurious Golden Chariot. After registration and check-in formalities, begin your extraordinary journey through South India. Enjoy a delicious onboard lunch as the train proceeds towards Bandipur.

In the evening, embark on an exciting wildlife safari at Bandipur National Park, one of India’s renowned tiger reserves known for its rich biodiversity and scenic forest landscapes. Return to the train for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay onboard at Mysuru.

Day 2

Arrive in Mysuru and explore the city

After breakfast onboard, proceed to visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, an architectural masterpiece showcasing Indo-Saracenic grandeur and royal heritage. Explore the beautifully decorated halls, royal chambers, and intricate interiors that reflect the legacy of the Wodeyar dynasty.

Return to the train for lunch. Guests may also choose an optional excursion to Srirangapatnam, a historic town associated with Tipu Sultan and renowned for its forts and temples. Dinner will be served onboard as the train proceeds towards Banavar for the next destination.

Day 3

Halebidu and Chikkamagaluru

Begin the day with breakfast onboard before visiting the magnificent Hoysaleshwara Temple at Halebidu, celebrated for its intricate stone carvings and exceptional Hoysala architecture.

Enjoy lunch onboard as the train travels towards Chikkamagaluru, a picturesque hill destination known for its coffee plantations and serene landscapes. In the evening, visit a plantation resort and experience the charm of South India’s coffee country while enjoying cultural performances and a special dinner experience. Return to the train as it continues towards Hospet for Hampi.

Day 4

Inn Hampi UNESCO World Heritage Site exploration

After breakfast onboard, proceed to explore the legendary ruins of Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The magnificent temples, royal complexes, ancient markets, and stone structures narrate tales of a once-prosperous kingdom known for its opulence and architectural brilliance.

Return to the train for lunch. Guests may relax onboard or opt for an optional excursion to Anegundi, a historic riverside village steeped in mythology and heritage. Dinner will be served onboard as the train proceeds towards Goa.

Day 5

Inn Goa

After breakfast onboard, visit the iconic churches of North Goa, reflecting the region’s Portuguese colonial heritage and religious significance. Return to the train for lunch and leisure.

In the evening, enjoy an unforgettable Goan cultural experience featuring traditional music, vibrant dance performances, and regional cuisine. After dinner, return to the train as it departs for Bengaluru.

Arrival in Bengaluru and Disembarked
